Hi Kenny,

I wanted to tell you something that I share with people, but I don't think I ever told you. When I started coming to you I had a really bad right arm. I slipped and fell on ice at church one night about two years prior to coming to you.

I went to therapy for at least a year and my arm was never right. I am learning sign language and could never hold my arm up for very long. I told you about my arm being injured when I started with you. In the beginning I would kind-a pamper this arm because I was in pain.

Some how before our sessions ended I forgot I ever had an arm injury. I thought I was injured for life and maybe needed surgery, but Praise the Lord I was cured working out with you. So thanks Kenny, I can hold my arm up again without pain. Just wanted to share that with you. May God bless you and your ministry abundantly!!

I started working out on Wednesday March 1, 2006. I trained 3 days a week and did cardio 2 days a week. My beginning weight was 197. After only 3 weeks I had lost 4 pounds and 5 percent body fat. I didn't really think that was a lot of weight but I noticed my clothes were fitting better.

So I decided to go to the mall and instead of trying on my regular size 16, I went for the size 14. To my amazement they were too big. So I tried on a size 12, which I haven't worn since ... probably middle school and I'm not 22 years old. I'm in my early 30's now. "I was so happy that the size 12 jeans fit!"

So obviously I lost more inches than weight and that's what my trainer said would happen. People are also noticing that I am slimming down, which also boost my moral when I get discouraged. So all you have to do is Eat Right and Keep it Tight (exercise) and you can also be Fit for Life. Once again I went down 2 pants sizes in only 3 weeks! (YES!!)

My recent visit to the doctor was unexpectedly pleasant thanks to Fit for Life. I am woman in my late fifties who has always struggled with a serious weight problem. After Christmas my husband and I began systematically working out at home and following one of the respected national weight-loss programs. After six weeks I had no results to show.

Then I came to Fit for Life and began working out. I could feel the difference right away because the trainers here know what they're doing. Yes, I came home with some sore muscles, but I also began to feel stronger and "peppier" within a very few days. In January, 2005 when Dominic went for his yearly physical, his doctor was extremely concerned about his weight gain. He was 155 lbs and 11 years old. Dr. Levy warned me that if he did not lose weight, he would become a diabetic.

I know it's been a while since you have seen me. I am still alive! For some reason I lost my motivation to work out. I was pleased with my results. Do you know I lost a total of 31 lbs since I started with you in January. I was thrilled! I'll be honest "I fell off of the wagon" I started eating anything I wanted, and that coupled with no exercise leads to weight gain. I gained about 3 lbs back. I have noticed a change in my body, it's gotten soft! not good.

So I am writing you to proclaim that I am BACK! I want to start back next Tuesday at 6pm. Do you still train someone in home on Tues/Thurs?

Please let me know if you can work me in. I want to start back slow. I am determined. I have an event to attend at the end of the month, I really want to look my best.

Since I have been going to FFL my energy level has increased which is something that I could not say about 3 months ago while attending B_ _ _ _s. At B_ _ _ _s it was hard to motivate myself to even walk through the doors. I always had to wonder if certain equipment would be available as well as dealing with the overcrowdedness that would often occur. At FFL you are scheduled by appointments to avoid over crowding as well as long lines for the equipment. The scheduling is both convenient for yourself and the certified personal trainers that work with you during your workout. The trainers provide you with the personal attention that is necessary to help you meet your fitness goal.

Unfortunately not all fitness facilities provide such an efficient service as FFL. It has been my experience when going to the other big gyms, the personal trainers don not give you the special attention you need and deserve. They seem to care more about your money than your health and fitness goals. At FFL you can not expect anything less. You may go in feeling tired but after your workout you leave feeling refreshed and good about yourself.

March 1, 2004, I made a decision to take charge of my life. I started a fitness program with Fit For Life Personal Training. I was severely overweight, I gained 10 pounds per year for the last five years. I also found out that I had adult onset diabetes. My glucose count was around 168. Some changes I have seen so far as a result of training with Kenny at Fit For Life P. T.

I wore an awesome suit last Friday that I purchased last winter for the first time this winter. I could not fit into the suit prior to weight training. I received so many compliments about how good it fit. I was so excited that I thought about stopping pass your studio to show you but I thought you would think that I am losing it. I say that jokingly but seriously that is what is happening . I can already see myself losing the inches. It has only been three weeks since I began my workout with you! I have been telling other women that weight training really works and will get you into clothes you thought you would never be able to wear again.

Other benefits that I can see so far are increased energy, stamina and strength.

I have to tell you one other awesome improvement I have seen. Over two years ago I sprained my right toe and since then I have experienced discomfort when trying to do exercises where I have to flex my foot. Since you started me with the split squats I have been feeling more comfortable and my foot has more flexibility.

After eating cereal and 2% milk for years, it was suggested that I try the Authors Choice Sugar Busters Cookies and Authors Choice Sugar Busters High Protein Shakes. On Saturday, July 12, 2003, Kenny invited me to a health and wellness meeting with Freedom Quest USA. When I arrived at the meeting I was suffering from a severe headache that I had for 3 days. Within 10 - 15 minutes I noticed my headache was starting to lift. By the end of the meeting my headache was completely gone!

I started working out with Kenny April of 2002. My reason was basically that I have a lung disease called Sarcoidosis. It affects the lungs and many other major organs. I was tired of feeling tired and was very fatigue. Since exercising I am not tired, my breathing test from my doctor has improved tremendously. My medication Prednisone a steroid has been reduced drastically.

I went from a size 10 in my clothes to an 8 and I am very firm now. I have even learned to eat healthy and to plan my meals correctly instead of 1 or 2 meals a day. I have been ill with this disease for 6 yrs and now my doctor has informed me to continue doing whatever I am doing. I advised him that I am exercising and weight training and he advised me to continue because it has improved my health. I have notice a change that even my doctors can not explain. I can honestly say that exercising has changed my life tremendously, not just health wise but spiritually too. God Bless you Kenny.

Kenny became my personal trainer about two years ago. I was a very reluctant participant. I had been a "couch potato" all my life. I'm the kind of person who buys a gym membership and never goes. Since I've been training with Kenney people ask me if I'd lost weight. I really didn't know, I've always found getting on a scale so depressing so I avoided it at all cost. However, I summoned up the courage and found I had lost 25 pounds! I continue to lose about 1 pound per week. This may sound slow but, I'm down 45 pounds and still going strong.

I don't hate exercising so much and my mental outlook has improved. I eat less, but I would never say I'm starving. The best thing of all, is that since I made small changes over time, I know that this time will be permanent, because, unlike those diets and other fads, I know I can live with these changes. Kenney's the best!

Dianne and I have been working out together for over two years - something neither of us has done this long before. The difference this time is having a compatible work-out partner and Kenny as our trainer. Kenny has encouraged us since day one. Working out is essential for me because I use diet and exercise to control my diabetes. I do not take medication for it. During these months with Kenny, I have lost 20 pounds and two dress sizes. My doctor says that my blood work now shows no evidence of my diabetes. Because of the diabetes my doctor advised me that my LDL "bad cholesterol" of 112 needed to be under 100. At my last visit it was 82. My doctor has been pleased and amazed at the results I have achieved. I am stronger and feel better now than I did 10 years ago. I thank God that Kenny came into my life.

When I started "Fit For Life Personal Training" in January of 2002, I had limited mobility of my left arm. My doctor said I had bursitis. I was hesitant about exercising and using that arm but I later consulted my doctor to get his approval to exercise and he gave me the go ahead. I then talked to my nephew, Kenny, the owner of Fit For Life and he convinced me to start his personal training program.

After months of strength training, cardiovascular exercise and good nutrition you probably will not believe this, but I still pinch myself everyday, I have NO MORE PAIN and I have gained the full use of my left arm. Since I joined Fit For Life I have developed a new mindset concerning exercise. I smoked cigarettes for several years and I knew that I needed to quit. After a few months of personal training, I knew that I wasn not getting the full benefit of the training because of the cigarettes.

I am in a generation where I am the care taker for my mother. Watching her venture into an "older age" has not been a great process. She never exercised or ate healthy. She is now in a nursing home (my brothers and I have determined it to be "one of the best") receiving great care. One of us is there with her every evening at meal time. Two of my brothers are retired and manage to stop in at different times during the day. We like keeping a check on things.

Watching my mom, has made me reevaluate my life style...in that, I see how important it is to have physical fitness as a part of my everyday existence. I finally joined Fit For Life after some coercion from co-workers and soon found that three times a week, one and a half to two hours a week of personal training had made quite a difference in how I feel! I have found invigoration in performing the circuit of exercises planned out for me. However, the routine is never routine: Kenny finds something different to throw into the mix and make these sojourns into the world of fitness quite exciting. If you were to ask what I enjoy most, I would have to say all of it!! The exercises themselves, the people (the morning bunch, are just an exceptional group of (NO TWO BODIES ARE THE SAME) with one common goal, to get fit and stay fit) and the orderliness/cleanliness of the gym.

I think there is only one woman older than me in this group and she can easily put us all to shame. But, understand that everyone works at their own pace, has their own goals and are very supportive of one another. I have to say at this time, my goal is to strengthen my right arm and left leg, I am a bowler. But I must say that training with Kenny at Fit for Life has given me vigor and great breathing techniques. Breathing is really a very important entity in getting fit. And, I am learning of this at Fit for Life. Thank you Kenny for giving me a new outlook and release on life!!!

I was approaching a milestone birthday and as I looked in the mirror everyday I didn't like what I saw. Not only was I unhappy with my physical appearance, but I had no energy, was sluggish and had poor eating and sleeping habits.

My boyfriend asked me to make a birthday/Christmas list ,as I did every year. Usually I wrestle with what to write down, however this year, a personal trainer was a the top of my list. I was ready to make a change and I knew I couldn't do it on my own. I was surprised when I opened my birthday card and there was a coupon for personal training with Fit For Life.

Though I wanted this more than ever, I was scared to "take the leap." I had tried other weight loss and exercise programs in the past, I had no problem starting a program, follow through was my downfall............So I took the leap! I made an appointment with Kenny, and started in January 2005 working out two days a week.

It was hard in the beginning. I was working muscles I didn't know I had. I was sooo stiff the days following training, that I often thought, "maybe this is not for me." ..........but I persevered! There was many a day that I wanted to keep driving right pass the facility, and miss my appointment, but something kept telling me to stick with it, so I did. Since I was overweight, I new that I needed more that just exercise to achieve weight loss, so Kenny referred me to his nutritional counselor and I began nutritional counseling.............So you ask, have I made progress? In just over a month's time I managed to loose 12 pounds, I was SHOCKED!

I guess I never really put the equation together (exercise + healthy eating = weight loss) I am going to continue this journey- on the road to a healthier me! Is it still hard, you better believe it, but the rewards along the way are great.

I have been coming to Fit for Life since February 16, 2005. Before coming my cholesterol level was 240. When I began weight training it went down to 221 and today I went to the doctor and my cholesterol level has gone down to 205! WOW!!! Also my blood pressure usually runs 136-140/85-90 and now it is 120/81!!! Thank you Fit For Life Personal Training. Kenny you and your team are the best!

Wait there's more...within the last couple of weeks (today 4/9/05) cholesterol levels were reduced to 198! LDL, HDL and triglycerides. my doctor said the results were excellent! By the way I am 49 years old.

I would like to take this opportunity to share my testimony. It has been a true blessing for my daughter and I to attend your wonderful fitness program. In 9 sessions of training and cardio under my dynamic personal trainer Tyrone Wilcox, I have lost 7 lbs. My 9 year old daughter has lost 3 lbs in 4 sessions under your lovely wife Teresa Reed who is Briana's personal trainer. Hi Kenny and Teresa, Wanted to share a little something after one month of Fit For Life. As you know Anthony and I went to New Orleans for a conference and mini vacation. We did a lot of walking everyday while we were there. There were days that we walked for two to three hours or more, just looking at things and moving in and out of shops. We took a city tour on a coach bus, which made a fifteen minute stop at one of the historic cemeteries.

I even surprised myself when I actually got off the air conditioned bus to walk around. I must admit, I would not have been able to handle the walking, especially in the heat of New Orleans, if I had not started your fitness plan. I have more energy and feel better. When I first started at Fit For Life, I joined because my weight and diabetes were getting out of control. My sugar levels were so high my doctor told me that if I didn't do something about my weight & eating habits that I would have to start injecting insulin into my body daily, and most of all they way I was going I probably would not see the age of 50. I am now only 27 years old. That was about 2 months ago and since then my sugar levels have dropped so much that my doctor says that a few more points down and I will be able to stop taking the medication that I am currently taking 3 times a day!

I can honestly say that making the decision to join this awesome team here at Fit For Life especially my personal trainer, Teresa Reed has changed my life and also showed me a better way of living. Most of all I was truly blessed with a new found family when I joined this beautiful team here at Fit for Life.

This is my testimony and I just want to tell you all that I am 9 years old and I was in a 9/10 dress size but now I am back into a kids' size of 16. I got to this point by my trainer Ms. Teresa.

I see a lot of improvement since I have been here and I am very happy with them. Even people are asking me what I have been doing and then I respond back to them that I have been exercising with a personal trainer. I have been working out now for 19 sessions and I am going to continue working out here.

My goal is to get to 85 lbs but I already reached my short term goal which was 99 lbs, (by the way I was 108 lbs when I started!) I still have to keep up the good work and not go back to eating a lot. I just have to keep on striving so I can get to where I want to be at and I still have to eat healthy.
